Love and Work in the Adult Lifecycle.
Annual Gathering of
Members and Friends. March 13th 2009
We
know that our relationships are important, not just for who we are and for
who we become as human persons and as people created and loved into life
by God. We also know that
pressures of time and pressures of work are squeezing the time that many
families have for nurturing their primary relationships. During Listening
2004 families talked a great deal about the difficulties of managing their
life/work balance. Just recently a YouGOV
poll in the Sunday Telegraph suggested that for 82% of women
balancing work and home life remains the major challenge.
FAMILIAS,
together with the
Marriage and Family Life Project Office, is therefore delighted to invite
you to a timely day of reflection with James Zullo FSC, PhD to explore
more fully why the balance of love and work is such a critical issue for
our selves, for our families and for all those with whom we minister.
