We have printed prayer cards to give to every couple being prepared for marriage this year. If you would like a supply to pass on to couples you know please contact Elizabeth Davies There is no charge for these cards but if you can make a donation towards postal costs that would be much appreciated. We have already distributed some to diocesan coordinators of marriage and family life ministry and to Marriage Care, so you might be able to acquire prayer cards easily through these networks.
Sample Text for Parish Bulletins Sample 1 Are
you or someone you know getting married in the Catholic church this year?
The Bishops’ Committee for Marriage and Family Life are gathering
information on marriage preparation in 2010 and want to hear from anyone
involved and especially couples to learn more about their experiences. If
you can help please visit www.catholicmarriage.org.uk where you can
find information about the initiative and access the brief online surveys. Sample 2 Everyone involved with Catholic marriage preparation in 2010 (priests, deacons, marriage preparation providers, couples) are invited and encouraged to take a brief online survey addressing their experiences. The survey is conducted by the Marriage & Family Life Committee of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference to gather information on who is involved with marriage preparation and how it is conducted in order to recognize areas of need and to affirm the benefits provided by marriage preparation. The survey can be found at www.catholicmarriage.org.uk.
